1. About Proxema

Proxema ("Proxema", "we", "us") operates a real-money prediction market platform where users trade on the outcomes of future events. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and our Market Rules.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Proxema. You represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

3. Trading and risk

Prediction markets involve financial risk. You may lose some or all of the funds you commit to a position, including fees. Prices reflect collective expectations and can move quickly. Nothing on Proxema is investment, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.

4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose risk to the platform or other users.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Manipulate markets, abuse bugs, or use automated systems to gain unfair advantage without authorization;
• Use Proxema for unlawful purposes, fraud, harassment, or to distribute malware;
• Circumvent security, rate limits, or identity / verification requirements;
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.

6. Market resolution

Markets resolve according to objective criteria and the rules described in each market and in our Market Rules. We may void or adjust markets where necessary to correct errors or address exceptional circumstances, as described in those rules.

7. Fees

Trading and other fees may apply as disclosed in the product. Fees may change from time to time with reasonable notice where required.

8. Disclaimers

Proxema is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties implied by law except where they cannot be excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Proxema and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid in fees to us in the twelve (12) months before the claim or the minimum amount required by law.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and may notify you where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, except where prohibited by law.
